After attending three out of the four All-Frosh/Soph Camps, across different regions of the county, this past September and October, we are thrilled to present the following standout athletes that were in attendance for the All-West, All-South, and All-East events.
Coming straight from the perspective, and evaluation of our regional analysts.
We appreciate the folks at Pangos Events, for putting on a great display of the best young
High-School Basketball talent in the country, and for allowing us access once again.
Tyran Stokes || 6’8 || Prolific Prep (CA) || C/O 2026
Offensively, he made his presence known in the paint by continuing to attack the rim and not worrying about multiple defenders getting in his way. He shot a couple of threes, and shot from both wings. He has active hands on defense and can go coast to coast with no problem. Areas of improvement, I would like to see him get his teammates involved, every time the ball got to him he wouldn't look to pass, and only attacked the basket. I also would like to see him shoot some more mid-range shots.
Brandon McCoy Jr. || 6’4 || St. John Bosco (CA) || C/O 2026
Offensively, he made his presence known in the paint by continuing to attack the rim. He wasn’t scared to jump with anybody in the gym if he had a height disadvantage. He shot one time from three but mainly focussed on attacking the rim. He has active hands on defense and can get up to snatch shots that go up. Areas of improvement, I would like to see him involve his teammates more and shoot some more from the mid-range and three.
Kenan Gilao || 6’8 || DNA Prep Academy (CA) || C/O 2026
Offensively, he made a couple of threes on the left wing and drove into the paint. He provides good rim pressure and knows how to operate a pick and roll. Defensively he could use some work on getting to the right spots and staying more active with his hands. Areas of improvement, I would have liked to see him be more assertive driving to the basket and wanting the ball. He seemed a little too passive. I would want him to take a few more threes and mid-rangers to flesh out his game a little bit.
Brayden Kyman || 6’8 || Santa Margarita Catholic (CA) || C/O 2026
Offensively, he made a mark in the paint by doing all of his work with layups and dunks. He serves as a good rim runner and has a good feel for the game knowing what spots he should be in as the 5 man. Defensively, he’s a little slow and can work on using his length to his advantage. Areas of improvement, he’s not insanely athletic so I would like to see him work on more post moves around the rim, and take more mid-range jumpers instead of looking for the three.
Devin Chambers || 6’3 || Palmdale HS (CA) || C/O 2027
Offensively, has a natural feel for the game with high IQ. He has a nice touch around the rim with floaters to get over bigger guys. Defensively, he digs down and has active hands to pick the ball with really good on-ball defense. Areas of improvement, I would like to see him be more aggressive offensively. He tries to set up plays for his teammates more than getting a shot up himself which is great, but being more aggressive would open up more options for him on the floor.
TJ Wansa || 6’2 || Cleveland HS (CA) || C/O 2027
Offensively, has a natural feel for the game, and shot a couple of threes on both wings. He has a nice touch around the rim and can make tough finishes. Defensively, he gets down and does all the dirty work. Getting on the floor and fighting for loose balls, he doesn’t waste any opportunities when there’s a loose ball. Areas of improvement, I would like to see him be more aggressive offensively, he likes to try and get his teammates involved. However, if he were more aggressive, more options would open up.
Izaiah Fiallos || Rancho Cucamonga (CA) || 6’0 C/O 2026
Offensively the player excelled in finishing plays even under pressure. Not only focusing on
layups with finishing at the rim but hitting scoring opportunities from various spots on the floor. Defensively, the player contributed with shot blocking ability denying opponents scoring
chances. The player also displayed the ability to secure defensive rebounds to dish out assists that lead to more offensive points for teammates. Areas of improvement are enhancing
athleticism and refining three point shootings.
McKae Amundsen || Fresno (CA) 5’8 || C/O 2026
Offensively the player standouts with their ability to create scoring opportunities through offensive rebounds. Court awareness was displayed through when they turned defensive rebounds and assists. Defensively the player's seamless transition created quick turnovers for the opposite team. With the height of 5 '8 player was not scared to pressure players which extended to blocking shots. Areas of improvement I would want to see is being more assertive in wanting the ball versus moving the ball.
Julian Turner || Redding (CA) || 6’0 || C/O 2027
Offensively the player excelled in creating opportunities for his teammates in transition. He demonstrated his capability to contribute to the team's score particularly from the three point line. Defensively the player was able to make steals and turn the defensive plays into scores for their team. Areas of improvement would be to enhance their ball handling skills.
Johnny Thyfault || Calabasas (CA) || 6’3 || C/O 2027
Offensively the player attacked the paint executing a few layups keeping composure under pressure. Defensively the player contributed to teammates assists through multiple steals. He also effectively denied opponents scoring opportunities and continued defensive pressure resulted in forcing turnovers. Areas of improvement I would like to see is to take more scoring
opportunities when open.
Samuel Mbingazo || Mission Hills (CA) || 6’9 || C/O 2026
Offensively the player brought a dominant presence to the offense with their ability to execute dunks. Their offensive rebounding allowed the player to secure missed shots for teammates. Defensively, the player denied scoring opportunities for opponents at the 5 position. Areas of improvement would be to enhance overall athleticism to increase opportunities to contribute offensively.
Brayden Kyman || Rancho Santa Margarita || (CA) 6’8 || C/O 2026
Offensively the player made his presence known through layups and dunks. He demonstrated a solid understanding of the game with his positioning at the 5. Defensively was able to create some opportunities for teammates through steals and defensive rebounding. Areas of improvement would be to enhance athleticism and create scoring opportunities for himself
around the rim.
Until next time...
