Drafting Victor Wembanyama 1st

As a basketball evaluator and purest, I believe that Victor Wembanyam has the potential to become a generational talent in the league.

Standing at 7'4", Wemby has a unique combination of size, athleticism, and skill that is rare for a player his age. He has an impressive wingspan of 7'8" which allows him to dominate on both ends of the floor. His mobility and agility are remarkable for a player of his stature, and his ability to run the floor and finish plays above the rim is impressive.

On the defensive end, he is an absolute force. He has exceptional timing, instincts, and shot-blocking ability. He is also a solid rebounder, and his size and length make it difficult for opponents to score in the paint.

Offensively, he has shown flashes of greatness. His shooting range extends beyond the three-point line, and he has a smooth shooting stroke. He has also demonstrated solid ball-handling skills, and his ability to create offense for himself and his teammates is impressive.

In addition to his physical abilities, Wemby has a great work ethic and a strong desire to improve. He has been playing professionally in France since he was 15 years old, and he has already shown significant growth and development in his game.

In closing, after seeing Victor in-person back in October of 2022, I walked away absolutely stunned by his talent, size and mobility. I strongly recommend whoever is lucky enough to get the 1st pick in the 2023 NBA to draft Victor Wembanyama. He has the potential to become the best basketball player the world has ever seen if he stays healthy and continues to progress.

Until next time...
