Summary
Amari Bailey is a 6’5 combo guard who is extremely athletic and has elite size for his position. He is big, physical, aggressive, and has all the intangibles you want in a guard. Bailey is an elite passer, often finding open teammates in the half-court or in transition. He is elite at getting to the basket and finishing over and around defenders due to his explosiveness and craftiness around the basket. He is great at making plays off the dribble for himself and his teammates. His form, base, and overall shot mechanics are clean, which shows that his outside shot will improve. Bailey has ridiculously quick hands and feet which make him an elite defender at all times. He has hardly any holes in his game. Bailey should continue to improve his handles, outside shooting, and finishing with his right hand. Amari Bailey is one of the most complete players in this class and will shine next season at UCLA.
